|2015 MCA Classic at Cayuga Lake - Wednesday, September 23, 2015|
Well, MCA just completed the final club tournament of the year which was held for the 2nd year at Cayuga Lake. Again, we had a great run of weather but the south wind kept the waves up.
Not only were the waves up, but so were the weights! We had 3 anglers who weighed in 2 day totals over 25 lbs. Mike Stefan was your winner with 31.74 lbs, Brian Spencer finished a close 2nd with 29.17, Derek Severns was 3rd, Brad Bressler was 4th, Dan Mincin was 5th, & Dan Laur finished out the members in the money finishing 6th
Dave Tichenor caught the lunker of the week with a gi.. gi.. gi.. giant largemouth weighing in at 6.82 lbs!
Mike Stefan is the 2nd member to win the classic as well as being AOY in the same year, congrats, Mike!
I would like to thank Mike, Andy, Dan Mincin, & Bob Severns for bringing the food as well as being the camp cooks.
I would also like to thank Brian Spencer for bringing & donating the beer that the club enjoyed!!

|Pa Classic & Super Regional Upcoming Tournaments - Sunday, September 20, 2015|
As our tournament fishing season winds down, the best is yet to come! MCA has 4 members who have qualified for the Super Regional & the Pa Classic tournaments..
John Kline has qualified as a boater for the newly announced Super Regional Tournament ( location not yet announced ) which has taken the place of the traditional divisional format, also, Brad Bressler & Derek Severns have qualified as boaters for the Pa Classic which is going to be held on Shenango Lake, as a qualifier to the Super Regional event. Mike Henry has also qualified as a rider for the Pa Classic. Tight lines guys!
|Final MCA regular club tournaments for 2015 - Monday, August 31, 2015|
Well, the last 2 regular season tournaments are in the books! MCA visited Lake Erie on Saturday & Conneaut Lake on Sunday this past weekend.
Lake Erie is a world class smallmouth bass fishery with good largemouth fishing in Presque Isle Bay. The weather cooperated with warm temperatures & small waves
Mike Henry was the winner, Dave Solties took 2nd place, & John Kline took 3rd place along with lunker for the day
Sunday had the members fishing Conneaut Lake, again the weather was good & Mike Stefan took the win along with lunker, 2nd place was claimed by Dan Mincin, 3rd place was taken by Andy Erjavek
Mike Stefan is also the 2015 MCA angler of the year... Great job Mike!!
Next stop is our club classic at Cayuga Lake in New York, see ya there guys!! Hope that we have the same great weather as we did last year

|Kinzua Reservoir & Kahle Lake Results - Tuesday, August 11, 2015|
MCA had a great weekend recently for our Kinzua & Kahle Lake tournaments. The weather cooperated & some good fish were caught.
1st up was Kinzua Reservoir which can be a challenging lake with lots of deep. clear water. Dave Tichenor was your winner, Dan Laur finished 2nd along with the lunker, Brian Spencer wrapped up the members in the money
Sunday had the members fishing on Kahle Lake which is a no gas motor/ big bass lake. Mike Stefan was the winner along with the lunker, 2nd place was claimed by Brian Spencer, and 3rd place went to John Kline
Thanks to all the members who attended the events & see you all at Lake Erie/ Conneaut Lake for the last 2 regular season tournaments during the last week of August!!
|2nd annual MCA open buddy tournament results - Monday, August 03, 2015|
The 2nd annual MCA open buddy tournament is in the books, we had a great turnout with 25 boats participating this year. We launched out of Labelle in the ten mile pool on the Mon. The weather was good & a good time was had by all.
The team of Mark Mounts & John Benard got the win with the heaviest bag for a total of 8.3 lbs, the team of Colton Sowers & Rocky Sirochman got 2nd place & lunker with a total weight of 8.2 lbs followed by the 3rd place team of Kip Cottrill & Phil Abel who weighed in 8.1 lbs. 4th place was claimed by Matt Becker's team with a weight of 7.2 lbs. 5th place was taken by the team of Mark Melega & Lee Corazzi with a weight of 7.0 lbs.
MCA would like to thanks all of the contestants as well as the members who all helped to make this event a successful tournament!!
|Yough Dam Club Buddy Event - Thursday, June 18, 2015|
6/18/15 MCA held their annual club buddy event. At the end the team of Jigs and Rocky won. Dan Laur and Andy Erjavek had lunker. Points and Results are posted.

|Lake Erie boating requirements - Tuesday, June 16, 2015|
FYI to all MCA members who plan on bringing a boat to our upcoming tourneys on Lake Erie:
1. A boat must have a type 1,2,3 or 5 life jacket for every person on board
2. A type 4 throwable device must also be aboard & be "immediately" available which means within arms reach of the passengers of the vessel
3. Persons who will operate the boat & were born after 1/1/82 must have a boaters safety education course certificate
4. All boats less than 40' in length must carry a sound producing device on board. This device can be a mouth ( whistle ) or power operated
5. Boats 16' & over must at all times carry visual distress signals on board day or night. Approved day/night use VDS devices would be coast guard approved hand held flares ( minimum 3 ) & the expiration date must not have passed
6. A type B-1 fire extinguisher is required & must be" immediately " available ( within arms reach ) of the passengers of the vessel

Day one at Pyme was a crazy weather day...sun, rain, harder rain, lighting, sun, rain, sun. After all that Brad Bressler won and Brian Spencer had lunker.
Day two proved to be another bad weather day...this day was more rain then anything and a major cold front had moved its way in. Mike "Toby" Henry won the event and had lunker. Results and Points are up and posted.
|5/16 Stonewall Jackson and 5/17 Cheat Lake - Monday, May 18, 2015|
This past weekend was a tough one to say the least with a few highlights! Day one at Stonewall Jackson lake, the fishing was tough, most guys brought a few fish to the scales. No one had a limit, some of this due to the rules in place at this lake. One fish over 18" and the rest 12" or better. In the end Jigs won the event with three fish, the biggest being a 7.62 largemouth!!
At Cheat lake Brian Spencer found the bites needed for the win. Results are posted from each event. Event photos from Stonewall are posted.

The event results are posted from this past weekends Mosquito Lake event. Lots of fish were caught as normal, Dan Laur was the guy who got a few better bites and was able to pull off the win.
